THE STORY
I am not a success story. I am my own story.
There was a period of my life when I was homeless and addicted to drugs. Today I have a family and a business I built myself. The easy version of that story is that I made bad choices, then I changed and I started to make good ones. Simple cause and effect, case closed.
That's not what happened.
I have the life I have now because I was a homeless drug addict. The traits that made me an addict are the same traits that made me a business owner. For years, I went to war with those traits — trying to destroy the parts of myself I didn't understand. But it didn't work because that doesn't work. You cannot give yourself a command and abuse yourself when you don't obey without creating conflict.
Everything changed when I stopped trying to control myself. The part of me I couldn't control is the exact same part of myself that pulled me out of that mess.
Along the way, I saw counselors. I saw doctors. I collected diagnoses and prescriptions. I spent years and thousands of dollars letting other people take their best shot at fixing me. Some of it helped. None of it was the answer — because the answer was never something someone else could hand me. I finally realized no one, regardless of how many letters follow their name, could know what I want out of this life better than I would.
So I'm not a counselor. I don't evaluate you, diagnose you, or prescribe anything. I don't claim to know what you need to find joy, fulfillment, or success — that's not information I have access to.
But I know the person who does. And I believe I can help you find them.
Why are you here?
