THE PROCESS
There are no shortcuts here.
This life can be whatever you want it to be, but the life you have is in the way. And the life you want must be built by you, brick by brick. The process looks something like this:
FIRST MEETING
Before anything begins, we meet — not to diagnose you or convince you of anything, but to find out honestly whether this is the right fit, for both of us.
01 DECONSTRUCTION
We are not trying to fix anything, we are trying to understand the way you see the world. Once we are able to carve out the judgments, beliefs, and opinions that shape the person you are today, you can analyze them. The judgments that form our world views are what give us comfort. This means that the freedom to determine who you will become will cost you the comfort of being who you are today.
02 ANHEDONIA
Once those judgments loosen, what's left is discomfort — the discomfort of having little to no opinion about anything. This stage asks you to sit there anyway, and look at the world again as if for the first time, without deciding in advance what any of it means. Free and open, the way a child sees before anyone taught them what to think. In order to begin building the life you want, you must strengthen the ability to live outside a structure built by someone else.
03 RECONSTRUCTION
From that open place, you build again — new judgments, new comfort, constructed by you and no one else. Outside perspective still matters here. The work isn't ignoring what other people believe; it's learning how to tell which of their beliefs actually belong in your life.
04 JAO
Jao is Hindi for "go." This is where the work leaves the page and enters your life. You take what you've rebuilt out into the world, test it against reality, and keep failing, learning, and growing from it. Self discovery never ends — the life you begin building never gets finished, it just gets deeper.
